The purpose of the stucco quality assurance checklist
is to ensure that the stucco scope of work is per construction
documents, standards, and that the other building components
have been done correctly before starting the stucco
assembly.
The program outlines a cooperative examination and inspection
format for those responsible for
the project - the general
contractor/owner and stucco contractor.
The parties are to sign off on each sequential step
in the inspection checklist to ensure the stucco system
has been thoroughly inspected, that all the building
components that relate to the proper function of the
exterior clading have been done as required (flashing,
roof, windows, framing, etc.), and is in accordance
with the requirements for the project.
